  • Meet your volunteer agreement: if you signed up for a membership with a volunteer agreement, any of the below opportunities will help you fulfill that requirement. 

 Requirements 

  • Must be 18 years old 
  • Must show up to the track by 7:30a to undergo quick training on their position. 
  • Compassion: Empathy and understanding are crucial. Volunteers interact with diverse individuals, so compassion helps build meaningful connections. 
  • Strong Work Ethic: Volunteers need to be reliable and committed. They should treat their roles with the same dedication as paid work. 
  • Teamwork: Collaboration is essential. Volunteers often work alongside others, so being a team player fosters a positive environment. 
  • Time Management: Volunteers balance their commitments. Punctuality and efficient time use are valuable skills. 
  • Positive Attitude: A positive outlook contributes to a harmonious volunteer experience and motivates others. 
  • Willingness to Help: Volunteers should genuinely want to make a difference. Their willingness to contribute matters. 

 Volunteer Roles 

  1. Race-Day Crew
  • Corner Workers: Keep an eagle eye on the track, signaling racers with flags. 
  • Grid Stewart: Organize the starting grid and ensure fair play. 
  • Scale Worker: Weigh karts at the scale when they come off the track. 
  • Track Cleaner: pick up trash on the track and around the pits before practice starts. 
  1. Event Support
  • Registration Desk: Welcome racers, handle paperwork, and distribute race packets. 
  • Kid Kart Assistant: Work with Kid Kart Liaison to help kid kart academy kids on race and practice days. 
  • Parking Attendants: Guide visitors to designated parking areas. 
  • Scoring Assistant: Help run scoring and timing in the field house.  
  1. Marketing & Promotion
  • Social Media Assistant: Support Social Media Liaison by engaging followers and creating content. 
  • Videographers: Capture the intensity of the races and behind-the-scenes moments.
